10 Best Morocco Luxury Hotels

Last updated on June 7, 2020 · By Touropia Editors

One of the best known type of accommodation in Morocco is called the riad. This is a small hotel renovated from an old house found in Marrakech, Essaouira and Fes or anywhere there is a medina in Morocco. Riads are usually small with about 6 rooms or less, often with a walled garden where breakfast is served on an inner patio or up on a roof terrace. Riads are usually too small to have a swimming pool, but may have what is called a tiny plunge pool to cool off in during summer months.

Some riads can be bigger as they are in former merchant houses or palaces. Otherwise there are the usual more modern luxury hotels found anywhere in the big cities and larger towns around Morocco. This list presents the best luxury hotels in Morocco, as rated by visitors.
