As Europe emerges from the long, gloomy days of the winter season the cities come to life with a vibrant spring atmosphere.
The temperatures are mild and mostly sunny in March in Northern Europe. In the south the weather is warm and the sun can get hot enough for the occasional beach day.
Whether you’re looking for a luxurious city break or hoping to visit nearby nature spots, March is the perfect time to travel. There are less tourists around and the prices of travel are much cheaper than in the summer months.

Florence, Italy

If you arrive in the first few days of March you’ll catch the last colorful processions that take place around the city as part of the Kotor Carnival! On the final day of the celebrations, the 3rd of March, there is a big concert in the Arms Square.

Valencia, Spain
