Old Faithful was fun to see. We also went to the Petrified Forest, which was amazing to see those trees. We had Thai food in town. Do a couples mud bath/massage at Doc Wilkinsons. Been in business for 70 years. And not to miss is Buster's BBQ. His hot sauce will literally bring tears to your eyes, in a good way. Cole slaw and potato salad were excellent too. We got beef ribs and tri tips. Super yummy.

We have been vacationing in Calistoga for over 30 years.
We have been vacationing in Calistoga for over 30 years. We have seen a lot of changes good and not so good ( prices at our favorite Spa doubled ) but none have kept us away. We found a few hotels with mineral water pools that are reasonably priced. It's a wonderful town, the people that live and work here are friendly and helpful. We have always felt safe in Calistoga. We always go to Soo Yuan Restaurant at least once a stay. We miss the mexican restaurant that was next to Cal Mart. Most of the time we get take home food from Cal Mart, it's always great . We nearly always walk to town, but if not, we have never had trouble finding parking - there are plenty of public parking lots and public restrooms.

Calistoga is a beautiful town with many hotels that have mineral water pools. Very easy to get around. Best restaurant in town is at The Calistoga Inn. I would avoid The Mount View Inn as it needs a lot of repair/remodeling (and I do like older historic buildings).
There are a lot of interesting shops, hiking, biking, etc.

What a Fantastic little town.
What a Fantastic little town. We stayed at the Inn on Pine, and visited the Golden Haven spa for the Mineral Mud Soak and massage. Very nice! We ate at the sushi restaurant , and the Calistoga inn, as well as the Sun Youn Chinese restaurant. Sushi restaurant was good, Chinese so-so, But the Calistoga Inn and Brewery was fantastic!!
The breakfast was good and simple. Home baked blueberry muffins, fresh fruit, cereal, oj, coffee. There was a nice bottle of chilled wine in the fridge upon arrival. The garden setting was lovely and well maintained, next door to a vineyard. Lani, the hostess, was very friendly, but also good at giving us our privacy. The hot tub was nice and there was a comfy hammock. We rode our e-bikes from the Inn to the town of Calistoga, past at least 4 wineries along the way. Great location, out of town enough that the price was right!
We had a great stay at the motor lodge. The staff were so friendly and helpful, ready with recomendations and suggestions and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The decoration is modern and fun, and very comfortable. The lodge is a short walk from downtown Calistoga and in a very calm area so no disruption from external noises at any time. Lots of nice hikes close by and easy walk to some wineries! The restaurant is delicious and the facilities are great! Hope to enjoy more of the spa and pool next time
Most hotels have a noisy heater so we can’t sleep. Instead, Golden Haven had the option of a silent plug in! Nicely done! The pools and hot tubs and mud bath which we came for were great! Bed was comfortable. So great had Level 2 charger for EV! Relatively expensive to charge but the convenience of it wonderful and we were able to make it back to the I5. Didn’t have time to use bikes- noted they had them. Would stay again.
This is a must stay when visiting Napa Valley. Lani went above and beyond and was the best hostess I have ever encountered. I was not expecting a full apartment, including a refrigerator with milk, juice, and fresh fruit. Banana, an assortment of cereal, and fresh bread welcomed us. The pool was exceptional and the entire stay made me so happy. We will definitely be returning! 100 out of 10 stars!!!
The property was magnificent. The attention to detail by our hosts Lynn and Gregg was bar-none. Our group enjoyed the beautiful grounds, the lovely and exceptionally clean rooms, the attention to detail and the wonderful breakfasts. Our hosts left nothing to want for. It was a sheer delight experiencing Napa while staying in this incredible Bed and Breakfast in Calistoga.
Quaint boutique hotel. Close to EVERYTHING. Walking distance to shops and dinning in Calistoga. Decor is outdated. But clean. It was the lowest price but the best location. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Manager lives on site so you are comforted knowing anything you need will be taken care of. Quiet location. Can't wait to go back!
Excellent Staff and hospitality at this over 100 year old Hotel in Calistoga. We arrived at the end of Memorial Day weekend, and it was quiet. Beautiful Art-Deco design inside the main lobby and throughout parts of the Hotel. They also had an excellent wine tasting in the afternoon and guest director Trina is very attentive and helpful.
This was a great place to stay and a great value! It was within a short walk to downtown Calistoga. My family came in for a single overnight. UpValley Inn was perfect. I would have loved to take advantage of more of the amenities but we were there basically to just sleep.
Very nice Hotel in an wonderful area. Best Continental Breakfast I ever had. Also they look on the environment. Real tableware and cutlery (no plastic). Delicious chocolate chips cookies. Very clean and an amazing view from the pool. A few steps from downtown Calistoga.
It was my 2nd time at the Calistoga Motor Lodge and I'll be back for a third! The first time I visited with girlfriends and the second time I brought my husband and 4 month old. Both experiences were fantastic and I highly recommend the Inn!
Was spacious, had a small kitchen, very clean, and well maintained. They called ahead to check when we were going to check-in, and made accommodations for a late check-in. Location was quite good, close to good breakfast places in Calistoga.
Excellent service, very sweet staff. Spa services were great too. Mineral pool and Jacuzzi were great. Great location with all restaurants within a mile. Coffee in the morning was great too.
It was very clean and located within a short driving distance to downtown Calistoga. The fresh pastries and juice each morning was a nice touch. The cottage was cozy and welcoming.
The most comfortable bed I remember! the place has a great atmosphere, beautiful garden and easy access to downtown. Snacks and coffee in the room were a great surprise
