Love that there are lots of tourist activities and available beaches. Many food markets and restaurants. I would recommend to rent a car that makes it easier to get by I loved the super food store, and also plenty of fast food restaurants, do not hesitate to go to the local stores I would recommend to by you I love Aruba souvenirs and gifts on the island and not the airportKross - 10Scored 10
Close enough for everything.
Close enough for everything. Ideally need a car to get around as could not see any public transport. Best experiences were butterfly farm and trek and natural pool in national park. Fish restuarants everywhere and red snapper a must. Palm and Eagle beach beautiful. Certainly a place to relax even during covid.

I’m disappointed with the owners.
I’m disappointed with the owners. I never made it to the island because I had to cancel my trip due to covid 19, the island being on a 9 pm curfew, and them only allowing residents of the island to travel to the island. Now I’m in the process of seeing if I can take any legal actions to get my money back.

I love this place.I fell safe as I walked at night to capture the beautiful sunsets.People were friendly .I walked to the super market and the owner was. Very welcoming.all the beaches are public and I spend most of the trip hanging at the beach at Marriott.It was the most amazing experience I had traveling alone.It was a relaxing trip and I met many people .I love Aruba and will come back again .I celebrated my 60 birthday in Aruba.My best meal was steamed grouper Downtown.This is an experience of a life time .

It has a functional kitchen with everything you need and the patio and pool area was a perfect place to unwind after a long day of adventures. Lidia is also a fabulous host - she went out of her way to give us recommendations for local restaurants, fun things to do and even brought us a super cute birthday cake to help us celebrate our son's 9th birthday! They even showed up to repair the ac although we mentioned we would be fine without it for one night! The room was very clean, also the whole area outside. We loved to have a veranda with 3 hammocks and a big mango tree to get them to eat. We had our own private entrance to the 2nd floor and the size of the apartment was just perfect for the two of us: complete kitchen, nice decor, cute balcony for sunset views. Location is in a residential area but only a mile and a half from the hotel area. A vehicle is required although taxis to the hotel area are reasonably priced. The building has an elevator which is a plus for me. There's a beach volleyball court and barbecue area. The on-site restaurant has a nice mix of food and drinks.

It even came with a pair of beach chairs and a cooler. The owners are great, they gave us a lot of useful advice about the island. The location is wonderful, by the 3rd day we were able to get to & from Palm Beach without maps.me If you happen to need something there are many markets near by. Cleanliness & amenities were great & I can not forget to mention the mattress... heavenly!
