Giza Overview

GizaThe Giza Necropolis stands on the Giza Plateau, on the outskirts of Cairo. The complex consists of the Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre and the modest-size Pyramid of Menkaure along with a number of smaller satellite edifices. The Great Sphinx lies on the east side of the complex. The pyramids are the only remaining monuments of the 7 Wonders of the World.
